The Inspector-General of Schools, Professor Salifu Azeko Tahiru, represented the Minister for Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, at the Conference held at the Accra International Conference Centre under the theme “Accountability, Policy, and Youth-Led Solutions for National Development.”

In his address, Professor Azeko reaffirmed the commitment of the Ministry of Education GH to providing quality education for all youth across the country. He highlighted the fulfilment of key initiatives such as the 'No Fees Stress and Free Tertiary Education for Persons with Disability', the students Loan Trust launch, the commissioning of the "TVET Center for Excellence among others, emphasizing government’s dedication to inclusive and accessible education.

Dignitaries present included the for Youth Development and Empowerment, Hon. George Opare Addo, the Minister for Food and Agriculture, Hon. Eric Opoku, the Minister for and Natural Resources, Hon. Yusif Sulemana, the Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, Hon. Rashid Pelpuo and the CEO - NYA, Osman A. Ayariga, Esq. Also in attendance were the Ambassador of Rwanda, the EU Head of Delegation to Ghana, the UN Resident Coordinator, representatives from youth-led organizations, and students from various second-cycle institutions.

Professor Azeko further assured participants of the National Schools Inspectorate Authority’s unwavering commitment to upholding the highest quality standards in Ghana’s pre-tertiary education sector
