On Tuesday, the National Executives of the National Health Studentsโ Association of Ghana (NAHSAG) paid courtesy visits to Mr. Patrick Apea-Danquah, Director of Danquah International School, and Hon. Mohammed Sukparu, Deputy Minister for Communications.
Citations of appreciation were presented to both leaders for their support at the NAHSAG Womenโs Empowerment Summit, highlighting their commitment to youth development and gender equity.
The visits also served as a platform to invite them to NAHSAGโs upcoming Women in Health Program, a key highlight of our 20th Anniversary celebrations aimed at promoting womenโs leadership in health and inspiring greater youth participation in national health discourse.

Yesterday, the National Executives of the National Health Studentsโ Association of Ghana (NAHSAG) paid a productive courtesy call on Hon. Okai Mintah, the Board Chairman of the National Service Authority. The meeting centered on forging a strategic collaboration to empower health students across Ghana, leveraging the platform of NAHSAGโs 20th Anniversary. Discussions focused on impactful initiatives, including programs to promote womenโs inclusion in health leadership and other major activities aimed at shaping the future of healthcare in Ghana. We are excited about this potential partnership to impart knowledge, create opportunities, and amplify the voice of the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Today, NAHSAG celebrates another one of its own, Peter Worlasi Cardinal Adanu. He is a highly motivated public health professional with over 12 years of experience.
Meet Mr. Peter Worlasi Cardinal Adanu, a public health professional with expertise in disease control, laboratory research, project management, and effective leadership. He has over 12 years of professional experience in managing and supporting complex project implementation.
He is an alumnus of the Catholic University, where he earned a B.Sc. in Public Health Management, and also holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Ghana. He once served as the Public, Media, and International Relations Officer for NAHSAG from 2015-2017.
He currently serves as the President of the Ghanaian Students Association in Hungary (GASH). He is also the NAHSAG Alumni Chairperson, a position he has held since 2021. Additionally, he is an International Ambassador for ELTE University.
He has extensive professional experience, including roles as a Clinical Trial Specialist at TATA Consultancy Services in Hungary and an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba. He has also worked as a Project Coordinator for the Integrated Community Water and Sanitation Project at Catholic Relief Services.
As NAHSAG approaches its 20th-year Anniversary Celebration, we are proud to call Mr. Peter Worlasi Cardinal Adanu as one of our own. Ayekoo

Today, NAHSAG celebrates on of its own. Someone who did not stop at leading NAHSAG during 2012-2013 but went on to demonstrate his capabilities to the whole country!
Meet Dr Yakubu Tubor Yusif, a nationally recognized expert in Traditional, Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
He is an alumnus of KNUST where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Herbal Medicine and once served as the NAHSAG President. His clinical and research training at the Centre for Scientific Research into Plant Medicine and Tetteh Quarshie Hospital shaped him into the revolutionary man he is today.
He currently serves as the Registrar of the Traditional Medicine Practice Council under the Ministry of Health, where he oversees the regulation and professionalization of traditional medicine in Ghana.
He is also a Board Member of the Food and Drugs Authority(FDA), ensuring the safety, quality and efficacy of both pharmaceutical and herbal medicine products.
As NAHSAG approaches its 20th year Anniversary Celebration, we are proud to call Dr Yakubu Tobor Yusif as one of our own.
