Queen Jane's School The school was established in 1992 with three children and one of the children of Mr and Mrs Gyimah. The idea of establishing the school was mooted by Mrs.

Janet Gyimah who taught at Mandela international school. This idea was facilitated by the return of the Husband from Europe. The staff at the time was made up of a teacher Joana Bortey and Mrs Gyimah with Mr Gyimah as the headmaster. The school has now developed in infrastructure and the number of students has increased tremendously. The school currently as a Nursery, KG, Primary and JHS departmen

ts. The school’s extra curricular activities are also taken seriously. There is a school cadet which is yet to be officially outdoor. We also have a school Band that provides both entertainment and training. Presently the school has a well equipped computer lab, well furnished classrooms, a canteen, walled and gated schools. The school sent 25 candidates as the first batch in the BECE in 2005 and all passed with distinction. Since then the school has not rested on its oars. BECE results have been excellent. Most of our alumni are currently studying in the various Universities, Polytechnics and tertiary institutions including the medical school. Others are also in similar institutions abroad. The school also has a bus that curries pupils and students to and from school.
