Back-to-back-to-back! Kotobabi 5 JHS has done it again. Just a few weeks ago, we successfully defended our Homowo trophy, and now we have clinched the STMIE Quiz title for the third consecutive time. We continue to uphold our place as the best school within the Ayawaso Central Municipality in Accra. Kotobabi 5 JHS has done it again! On Wednesday, 23rd July 2025, we retained the Homowo Quiz Competition Trophy, marking our second consecutive win. We are now the defending champions of both the Science and Maths Quiz for Ayawaso Central Municipality and the Homowo Quiz Competition.

Our students had the invaluable opportunity to learn extensively about the contributions and legacy of our founder and first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, not only for Ghana but also for the entire African continent. A handing over from the old to new students’ leaders. The new leaders assured the old leaders of their readiness to keep the flame 🔥 of K5 burning. The new leaders were sworn into office where they took an oath of allegiance and an oath office to abide by the rules and regulations of the school and to do right to all manner of students without fear or favour.
