THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 10th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Tuesday 3rd January. 2023). *_THE MEANING OF MUHAMMADUR RASUULULLAH_*. BismilLah.
If as a Muslim you claim to be following our beloved Messenger of ALLAH, it means a confession with your tongue and a heartfelt belief, which means that you testify none has the right to be followedafter ALLAH, but the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ashe is the Last of HIS Messengers. As ALLAH says in the Qur’an:“Muhammad is not the father of any manamongst you but he is the Messenger of ALLAH and the (last, the seal, end) of the Prophets and ALLAH is Ever All-Aware of everything.”(QUR'AN 33:40). This basically means even the children of the Prophet have to follow him as a Messenger of ALLAH not only as a father to them. ALLAH says “And whatsoever the Messenger Muhammad gives you, take it and whatsoever he forbids you, abstainfrom it.” (QUR'AN 59:7).
And ALLAH said: “Say (O Muhammad) (to mankind) ‘if you (really)love ALLAH, then follow me’.” (QUR'AN 3:31). Allahu Akbar. Whatever we do as Muslims religiously we must ask ourselves, is it within the teachings of ALLAH and HIS Messenger? If yes Maa shaa ALLAH and if no then ignore it.
*_May ALLAH aid us to worship HIM with knowledge and sincerity_*. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 4th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Wednesday 28th December. 2022). *_ATTENTION, ALLAH IS CALLING_*. BismilLah.
ALLAH says in Qur'an 2:21-22
O mankind! Worship your Lord (ALLAH), Who created you and those who were before you so that you may acquire Taqwa (ALLAH consciousness, by helping you to stay away from any form of disobedience to ALLAH).
ALLAH mentioned HIS Oneness in divinity and stated that HE has favoured HIS servants by bringing us to life after we did not exist.
HE also surrounded us with blessings, both hidden and apparent
In verse 22 ALLAH says;
Who has made the earth a resting place for you, HE made the earth a resting place for us, just like the bed, stable with the firm mountains. And the sky as a canopy, meaning, `a ceiling'. Similarly, ALLAH says in another Ayah,
And ALLAH made the heaven a roof, safe and well-guarded. Yet they turn away from its signs (i.e. sun, moon, winds, clouds). (21:32)
And sends down for you water (rain) from the sky, meaning, through the clouds, when they need the rain.
and brought forth therewith fruits as a provision for us.
Hence, ALLAH caused the various types of vegetation and fruits to grow as a means of sustenance for people and their cattle.
Then do not set up rivals unto Allah (in worship) while you know (that He alone has the right to be worshipped).
In an authentic hadith;
Narrated 'Abdullah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: I asked the Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wa Sallam), "What is the greatest sin in consideration with Allah?" He said, "That you set up a rival to Allah though He Alone created you." I said, "That is indeed a great sin." Then I asked, "What is next?" He said, "To kill your son lest he should share your food with you." I asked, "What is next?" He said, "To commit illegal sexual in*******se with the wife of your neighbour." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 6/4477]. Allahu Akbar. *_May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protects us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 12th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1444AH. (Saturday, 8th of October 2022).
*_THREE SOURCES OF ALL SINS_*. BismilLah.
Sheikh Ibn Al-Qayyim writes in his book Al-Fawaa’id: People may enter the Hellfire by three doors: the door of doubts which lead to uncertainty in the religion of ALLAH, the door of lusts which lead to preferring desires over obedience to ALLAH, and the door of anger which lead to aggression against HIS creation.
The sources of every sin are three matters: arrogance which caused Satan behave the way he did, greed which caused Aadam to be expelled from the garden, and envy which emboldened one of the sons of Aadam against his brother.
He who protects himself from these three matters will be protected from evil. Unbelief comes from arrogance, disobedience comes from greed, and transgression and injustice come from envy. Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “He will not enter Hellfire who has the weight of a seed of faith in his heart and he will not enter Paradise who has the weight of a seed of arrogance in his heart.” Sahih Muslim 91.
AstaqfirulLah. *_May ALLAH have mercy on us all and protect us from such satanic influences_*. Aameen.
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 6th day of Shaw'waal. (Saturday, 7th of May, 2022). *_RAMADHAN IS SADLY GONE SHEITAN IS BACK FROM A MONTH IN PRISON_*. BismilLah.
Unfortunately its’s been a few days since we said goodbye to Ramadhan 1443/2022. Many of us are trying to hold onto the ‘spirit of Ramadhan for as long as possible, the powerful connection to ALLAH, the revived relationship with the Qur’an and Salah, and the feeling of being productive and active with our worship.
However, the good habits we developed during the blessed month will sometimes be forgotten until next Ramadhan by many as we may be too busy, distracted, unmotivated, or simply forget about them. With that in mind, here are 3 tips on how to keep up the good habits after Ramadhan and continue to be close to ALLAH.
Tip 1. Work continually to strengthen your Eemaan: eemaan is the engine we need to keep doing good deeds. When our eemaan is strong, it’s easy to come near ALLAH and engage in different acts of worship, but when it becomes weak, it’s difficult to do good deeds. So we should strengthen our eemaan by learning more about ALLAH since when one knows ALLAH, one will love ALLAH. When one loves ALLAH, one will automatically want to serve and worship HIM.
Tip 2. Seek more knowledge: Every Muslim must seek knowledge that will facilitate his worship of ALLAH. For instance, a Muslim must know how to perform salah to perform it properly. Seeking knowledge is a lifelong endeavor. When Islamic knowledge is sought sincerely, it will increase us in eemaan and righteousness.
Tip 3. Surround yourself with righteous people: It will make it easy to do good deeds since one is more motivated when in a group than when one is alone. That’s why the Prophet (SallallaahualayhiwaSallam) encouraged us to keep company with the righteous people. *_May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protect us from Sheitan who is back from prison_*. Aameen.
