➡️ UPDATE ON UG-ACCRA CITY CAMPUS ELECTION

Kindly find attached in this release an update on the Accra City Campus election and the formation of an IMC.

On Monday, 1st August, 2022, the UG-ACC SRC, under the auspices of the office of the General secretary, held a Virtual NSS Workshop for final year students to keep them abreast and guide them on the various NSS procedures.

The event ended successfully meeting its intended effect as staff from the Greater Accra NSS were present to guide students. The office of the Secretary and the entire SRC are glad to have had numerous final year students benefit from the event.

The most anticipated "Face Of The City" is approaching, kindly register if you would want to be a part of the event. There are a number of prices for contestants. Join the excitement.

The SRC of UG-ACC, through the Office of the Vice President, will be hosting this year's Student's Leadership Summit come this Friday, 29th July, 2022, at the University of Ghana-Accra City Campus.

The summit, which is intended to shape student's perception in the field of leadership, will bring together experts across all fields; politics, business media, et al; to share their knowledge and experiences with participants given the growing interest of students, and youth in this respect.

The Financial Economic Seminar - Ghana, 2022 took place yesterday (13th June, 2022). The seminar ended with all persons present been equipped with ideas needed for redefining the economic fundamentals of developing countries. UG - Accra City Campus students had a fair share of this pie.

The "Obaasima Summit" is set to take place on 16th June, 2022 at Ghana's National Theatre. It is a project centered on empowering, equipping and promoting women to fulfill their dreams. All women on city campus are entreated to join this event. The SRC Women's Commissioner will be present.

The need for psychological, emotional, and social support as humans cannot be underrated. As such, the UG-ACC SRC in collaboration with the office of the counsellor seek to present a maiden "Peer Counseling Program" to address such challenges the Accra City Campus student would have to battle.

It will be educative, impactful and exciting. Anticipate !!
