We share experiences of students who come to Ghana from American colleges for a semester's worth of experiential learning

Examine transformation in Ghana from cultural and artistic perspectives. Through meaningful engagement with different knowledge systems, students acquire both the theoretical frameworks and practical experience necessary to understand Ghanaian society as well as the country's rich artistic and cultural outputs.

Tamale: Dive into the bustling northern hub, showcasing a blend of local culture and global influences with the focus on local NGOs and the Shea butter Industry.

Pikworo - Tracing the Transatlantic slave route from the Northern Boarder and the legacy of the people.

Paga: Traditional stories of the unique crocodiles of the area.

Mole: Embark on a safari adventure in Ghana’s largest national park and tracing the identifying significance of routes through the park.

Assin Manso: Reflect on the historical significance of this former slave transit point - The last bath.

Cape Coast: Explore the poignant history of the Cape Coast Castle and its role in the transatlantic slave trade.

Elmina - Exploring Deutsch Influence and the the history African print market.

Takoradi: Enjoy the coastal charm and thriving port city and the African heritage.

Nzulezo: Visit the stilt village and marvel at the ingenious adaptation to water-based living.

Adumasa: Understanding Chieftancy and the relevance of traditional systems in a democracy.

Akosombo: Witness the engineering marvel of the Akosombo Dam and its impact on Ghana’s development.

Wli: Hike to the breathtaking Wli Waterfalls, the highest in West Africa and ecotourism in Ghana.
