HOW WILL PRIVATE SCHOOL TEACHERS SURVIVE?- Disappointed COPSTEG Ask Akufo-Addo

The Coalition of Concern Private School Teachers Ghana (COPSTEG) in a release signed by its Acting President Mr. I.B. Chambas has express disappointment in president Akufo-Addo over his continuous neglect of private school teachers in its relief supports.

COPSTEG accused government of ignoring the plights of private school teachers in all its policy interventions and is doing same in this period.
The private school teachers union accused the Akufo-Addo government for doing nothing to support its members who have been at home for about a month now, some without salary for March,2020.
It also accused gov't of paying all public school teachers but doing nothing to support teachers in private schools

"But one thing the government or the President failed to ask is how are these teachers going to survive since our major source of income is the small salary we receive and this salary also comes from the small school and the feeding fee our employers take from the Parents”

COPSTEG pleaded with government to put some measures in place for private school teachers to get paid while they remain locked at home, because they also play key roles in shapening the country's educational sector.

"So, for God's sake what have we done to the government? We ask, is it that government does not realize our contribution to the education sector?", a disappointed COPSTEG quizzed.
