⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️The Australian government has updated the requirements for the onshore student visa appplications from 1st Jan 2025.

Students applying for onshore visas will need to apply with Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) instead of just Letter of Offer.

Not providing the CoE at the time of onshore student visa application will make it invalid. And associated bridging visa can not be granted where the visa application is not valid.

If a visa holder can not obtain the CoE before their visa expires, then they either look for other visa options or depart Australia.

There is no change for certain visa categories such as Foreign Affairs, Defence, or secondary exchange students.
