Kumasi Induction Ceremony – 2025/2026 Academic Year

On Friday, 13 February 2026, we formally inducted 376 Professional Law Course students at our Kumasi Campus.

The ceremony marked the official commencement of their professional legal training; a significant milestone in their journey toward the Bar. It was a moment defined by purpose, commitment, and the solemn responsibility that accompanies the study and practice of law.

Last week, on 6th February 2026, we had orientation for our specialised course(Criminal Prosecution and Litigation) designed to strengthen the capacity of investigators and prosecutors across Ghana’s security and allied agencies.

This six-month, weekend-based programme bridges the gap between foundational prosecutorial training and advanced professional legal education. It is tailored to equip participants with deeper knowledge in criminal procedure, rules of evidence, drafting of charge sheets, case preparation, courtroom advocacy, and interpretation of legislation.

Participants will engage in both theoretical and practical sessions covering but not limited:

• Sources of the Laws of Ghana
• Criminal liability and general defences
• Offences against children and vulnerable persons
• Sexual offences and domestic violence disputes
• Investigation processes and case docket preparation
• Arrests, searches, bail, appeals, and more

The course is designed for investigators and prosecutors from institutions such as the Police Service, GRA, Immigration Service, EOCO, NACOC, National Security, MMDCES and other allied agencies with prosecutorial mandates.

We are proud to contribute to building a more confident, skilled, and effective prosecutorial system.
