Sheikh Musa Saidy Certified His Three Daughters After Memorizing the Qur’an

Sheikh Musa Saidy has expressed immense joy and gratitude to Allah after witnessing the certification of his three daughters who successfully memorized the Holy Qur’an. Describing the occasion as one of the happiest moments of his life, Sheikh Musa said seeing his daughters complete the memorization of Allah’s Book is a blessing beyond words. He thanked Allah for granting them the strength, dedication, and sincerity to achieve such a noble milestone.

Speaking during the ceremony, Sheikh Musa emphasized that this achievement is not the first of its kind in his family and, by the will of Allah, it will not be the last. “This is not the first time my daughters have memorized the Qur’an, and it will not be the last time, In Sha Allah,” he said. He noted that the memorization of the Qur’an should be a continuous tradition among Muslim families and encouraged parents to invest in the Islamic education of their children from an early age.

Thousands Attend the Funeral Prayer of Hafiza Bahijja Adam (Monitor) in Zaria.

Despite heavy rainfall, thousands of people from across Nigeria gathered in Zaria to attend the funeral prayer of the late Hafiza Bahijja Adam (Monitor).

The large crowd included Qur'an memorizers (Huffaz), Islamic scholars, Qur'an students, family members, friends, and well-wishers who came from both nearby and distant places. Their presence showed the immense love, respect, and admiration they had for her and the positive impact she made during her lifetime.

Hafiza Bahijja Adam was widely respected for her unwavering dedication to the Holy Qur'an, her exemplary character, and her kindness toward others. Many described her passing as a significant loss to the Muslim community.

During the funeral, heartfelt prayers were offered, asking Allah (SWT) to forgive her sins, have mercy on her, expand and illuminate her grave, and make the Qur'an she memorized a source of intercession and salvation for her. They also prayed that Allah grants her Al-Jannatul Firdaus, the highest level of Paradise.

Prayers were equally offered for Allah to grant patience and strength to her family, teachers, students, and the entire Muslim Ummah as they cope with this painful loss.

May Allah forgive Hafiza Bahijja Adam, accept her good deeds, grant her the highest place in Paradise, and comfort everyone she left behind.

STEPS OF TEACHING A CHILD FROM ALIF B Ā TO COMMITTING THE QUR'AN.

The success of memorizing the Qur'an does not depend on the brain of a child alone. She needs a good plan, step-by-step teaching, repeating, and maintaining Tajweed from the beginning of reading. Scholars say:

Because of this, there is no need to rush to put a child in recitation of the Qur'an before he can read properly.

Step 1: Building Qur'anic love (3-5 years)

The goal of this stage

Make a child to love the Quran before he is put on the burden of reciting it.

Things that will be learned

- Gane haruffan Hijā'iyyah.
- The spelling of alphabet alphabet.
- A short prayer of prayers.
-Simple chapters be like:
- Al-Fātiḥah
- Al-Ikhlāṣ
- Al-Falaq
- An-Nās
- The Thousands of Holding Mus'hafi.
- The countenance of listening to the Qur'an.

The way to teach

- Lessons last between 20 - 30 minutes.
- Use the use of repeating.
- Use compliments and encouragement.
- Don't rebuke a child for mistakes.

Level 2: Learning Reading (Ages 5-7)

A child can read the Qur'an without difficulty.

1. Harakāt

- Fatḥah
- Kasrah
- Ḍammah

2. Tanwīn

- Fatḥatain
