We are excited to share the testimonial of one of our 2023 Gender Inclusion and Resilient Leadership (G.I.R.L) project participant, Ruby Charlene Opoku.
“I am excited to share my journey with the G.I.R.L. project, which I joined in March 2023. Over three months, I learned so much about digital productivity, managing social media reputations, and building strong communication and leadership skills. These experiences had a real impact on my LLB program, helping me approach my studies with a fresh perspective.
One of the key takeaways for me was the connection between law and technology, especially in areas like artificial intelligence (AI) and its use in legal research and analysis. I also found new ways to think about how technology could be applied in an African context, such as using digital tools to improve access to justice in underserved communities.
The G.I.R.L. project has enhanced my legal education; it also deepened my interest in exploring how these two fields can work together. I am excited to keep building on what I have learned and to find creative ways to integrate law and technology in my future career.”
