Regards Amosuan,
Yesterday a news item was carried on Okay fm about a riot in the school. It has been rumored that a student lost his life in the brawl. I wish to clear the air.
There was a misunderstanding between a Form 2 visual arts boy and a Form 2 technical boy over a Form 1 girl. The misunderstanding escalated into a brawl between a section of the technical class and some section of the visual arts class. Most of the brawl happened outside campus and yes it got nasty but there was no death. As at the close of today Friday 15th December, calm has been restored to the school with undisrupted academic work.
The incident is unfortunate but blown out of proportion. Administration has assured the right disciplinary measure would be taken against the perpetrators.
I believe with this calm will be restored among the Union. Thanks and the best of the festive season to all of us.

P. S. Next general meeting is scheduled for Saturday 27th January 2018. At 4pm.

Work on the basketball court project for the school has began... The project estimated at 20, 950 Ghc is being financed by two old students with support from the school. This is a call to all old students to join this noble course, any contribution however little is very welcomed and will be channelled to adding sitting stands. Be rest assured that at its inauguration every pesewa will be accounted for... In case of any clarification call 0547433877!

At the Amosu Homecoming Seminar held in the school on 22nd October, 2017.

24/09/2017

I want to thank you all for the massive support for this year's Homecoming, even in the face of the flop, you still hanged on in your numbers until late in the night. That was remarkable and fulfilling, I totally agree that it could have been way way better, but at least this year's event saw the largest gathering of old students and that is commendable. But in the face of the flop, we were able to secure the commitment of two old students to fund the 9, 000 GHS basketball court for the school. Project will commence soon and surely in December when we hold our election and food festival, we shall all see and be proud of our achievement. I want to thank the planning committe for the good job, John Ofori, thanks a lot, Vida Twumasiwaa Afrifa you've been a solid pillar, Amoro thanks for your consistence. Rich Evangelist Okutu, a lot of the numbers at this year's Homecoming can unarguably be credited to your zealous publicity on social media, thanks a million. To my executive team, Quame Amafo, Yaw BackAgain, Kovor Mawuena Grace, Pascal Hayison, Worsley, Nii Adjei Onaa po, thanks for the support, I couldn't have done this without you guys, God bless you. Philip Youngs, Josh Dotse, Fred Mensah, Amet Demenya thanks for keeping me on my toes. Finally to all you Amosuans, have my appreciation for the love and support, it's been an honour serving you. I agree that my administration could have been better, but believe me when I say I gave it my humanly best. Now it's time we all ensure this our pride does not die. Let's all get involved in the election of the next president. The survival of the Union depends on it and we can't fail. God bless us all as we look forward to December.

Long live our Alma Mater!
Long live Amosu!
Long live the Amosuan!

Yours in service
Prince Von XBQ
Outgoing President, AMOSU.
