A couple of weeks ago, Ghana was celebrated by the kiddos at Aim High Academy through what they called TRADITIONAL DAY. It was such an amazing outfits from the kids as well as the performances they pulled off… My camera 📸 did alil magic right there… indeed GHANA IS 69 years. TRADITIONAL DAY @ AIM HIGH ACADEMY

At Aim High Academy, the TRADITIONAL DAY was celebrated! I missed it as I am recovering from pouring boiling water on my feet at one early morning. The feet of an old man take time to heal.

I said that I missed it! Watching the colorful dresses speaking about rich and diverse cultures, cooking traditions, music and dance from all over Ghana and beyond.

Still, the scars of a past where the uniqueness, the riches and beauty of Ghana 🇬🇭 were intentionally hidden behind a mask of poverty, are still a haunting reality. One of the biggest historical lies that Ghana was and is poor, kept her beauty hidden, for centuries !
