Sharing her journey from Wesley Girls’ to medical school and surgical training, she underscored the power of hard work, focus and service in achieving academic and professional excellence.

Meet Dr. Justina Adams, the Valedictorian of the 15th Session of the 57th Congregation held for graduands of the School of Graduate Studies

Dr. Justina Adams in Profile:

■ Born on 18 May, 1992 in Enchi in the Western North Region

■ Completed her primary education at Enchi Methodist School

■ Attended Fiaseman Secondary School in Tarkwa

■ In October 2012, she began her studies at UCC where she earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting in May 2016

■ Obtained MCom in Accounting in September 2019

■ Started her Ph.D. Business Administration in January 2022, and completed in September 2024

■ Her doctoral research was on cultural origin, green reporting and firm performance of listed manufacturing firms in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA)

■ Her research interests include CEOs and holding companies' cultural heritage on green reporting and overall firm performance, risk management, and corporate governance.

■ Currently, she is a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Accounting at School of Business,UCC.

■She is a Chartered Accountant

■ A devoted member of the Methodist Church Ghana

■ A staunch supporter of Liverpool Football Club managed by 45-year-old Arne Slot

■ Married to Prince Charles Adubofour.

The Council of Ho Technical University has approved the promotion of two Senior Lecturers, Dr. Eli Ayawo Atatsi and Dr. Elizabeth Dzigbordi Obinnim, to the grade of Associate Professor.
