Yesterday May 25, was celebrated as African Union Day. A day that honors the brave freedom fighters and visionary leaders who courageously stood against colonialism, apartheid, injustice, and oppression. Their sacrifices, resilience, and unwavering determination paved the way for the liberty and opportunities many Africans enjoy today. Because of their courage, Africa continues to move forward with hope and purpose.
As we celebrate this special day, may we continue to embrace unity in diversity, promote peace and education, empower the next generation, and work together toward a brighter and more prosperous Africa. The future of Africa is not only a dream — it is a responsibility entrusted to all of us.
“A united Africa is a powerful Africa, and empowered people create transformed nations.”

Our students recently participated in engaging Career Day programs where they explored a variety of professions, including nursing, teaching, plumbing, and other skilled careers. The experience provided valuable hands-on learning opportunities, broadened their understanding of the professional world, and inspired them to begin envisioning their future career paths. It was an enriching educational experience that continues to equip our students with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and exposure needed to succeed in the competitive 21st-century job market.

This week, we were truly blessed at King Solomon International Academy as we welcomed a team of dedicated volunteers from North America and Ghana. Their visit was not only impactful but transformational for our students.
They engaged our learners in dynamic sessions, teaching critical thinking skills, inspiring creativity, and sharing powerful, life-shaping stories that sparked curiosity and confidence in our young minds. Beyond the classroom, they demonstrated love in action by generously donating computers, learning accessories, and toys—resources that will significantly enhance our teaching and learning environment.
We are deeply grateful for their kindness, sacrifice, and commitment to empowering the next generation. Your investment in our students today is planting seeds for a brighter tomorrow.
Together, we are building minds, shaping futures, and transforming lives.

As we reflect on the death and resurrection of Christ, may our hearts be filled with renewed hope, unshakable faith, and the courage to live with purpose. In a world often marked by uncertainty, I pray that His sacrifice reminds us of the power of love, the promise of redemption, and the victory of light over darkness.
May peace reign in our homes, stability be restored in our nations, and unity rise among all people. Let this sacred season inspire us not only to believe, but to act—to extend grace, to uplift the broken, and to become instruments of change in our communities.
Because He lives, there is hope for tomorrow. Let us carry that hope boldly into the world.

Happy Birthday to Ghana!
We are deeply grateful for the peace and stable democracy that continue to prevail in Ghana today. It is our prayer that God will grant the leaders wisdom, integrity, and foresight to develop policies that truly uplift the welfare of the ordinary citizen and place the nation on a path of lasting progress.
Indeed, Good policies begin with good leadership. May we always choose leaders who put the people first and are committed to the common good.As we celebrate our independence, may we refuse to remain in the shadows of colonialism. Instead, let us embrace our freedom as an opportunity for growth, self-reliance, and national development, building a Ghana that thrives not on dependence, but on the strength, creativity, and determination of its own people.
Happy Independence Day, Ghana!

Over the weekend, our PTA meeting was held and was met with an impressive turnout from our parents. Several important topics were discussed, including encouraging parents to actively motivate their children to complete their homework and support learning at home.
We also announced the introduction of Robotics into our curriculum, aimed at strengthening hands-on skills in STEM education and preparing our students for the future. In addition, we shared plans for the introduction of the IGCSE curriculum, further enhancing the quality of education we provide.
We encouraged parents to continue partnering with the school, as King Solomon School remains one of the best in the area—especially with our small class sizes, which allow teachers to give students personalized, one-on-one attention.
