Greetings Family, Modern Ghana recently published an article I wrote.

I hope it's informative. It's just a glimpse of the history, and the Cedi currency issue here in Ghana.

Of course, the Cedi exchange rate is no problem for people with pounds or dollars, but it is causing economic hardship for those of us who don't receive "western monies".

Increasing inflation and poverty.

Kwame Nkrumah was a prominent Pan-African organizer whose radical vision and bold leadership helped lead Ghana to independence in 1957.

He is globally recognized as a foremost pan-Africanist strategist and statesman who served as an inspiration to Martin Luther King, who often looked to Nkrumah’s leadership as an example of nonviolent activism.

As a part of our initiative, we are happy to be celebrating him as one of the heroes of the Black race.
