PEER PRUSSURE

Positive Effect.

Lately I have been sharing on Peer Pressure,
Per its definition, it's an influence from members of one's peer group (family, friends or mates).

It might be POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE,

Life may throw pressure at you in various way, it may be pressure to have a job, pressure to rent, pressure to marry, pressure to have kids, pressure to travel or build.

But how do you Overcome Peer-Pressure?

1. It's by accepting the challenge, acknowledge the facts but shift it unto God. It's the Lord who makes all things better.

Eccl 3:11 - He has made everything beautiful in its time!

2. You need to look at the challenge and speak the TRUTH to it just like David did to Goliath. The truth is the Word of God [Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God]

.. All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves, for the battle is the Lord’s - 1 Sam 17:47.

3. After speaking the TRUTH to the challenge that brough Peer Pressure on you, now walk/run in battle against it, because the truth will set you free.

.. as the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him ...

So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him.

The Lord saves by his word!
Use His word and struck your enemies down and finish them! Cut their heads off and take it to Jerusalem [City of Peace].

WALKING ALTAR - THE PURPOSE OF A BELIEVER'S LIFE

Yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. 1Peter 2:5.

You are Peter, upon this Rock shall I build my church, the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. This is a true saying the Lord told Simon Peter.

As living rocks, for the glory of God we are as much as walking altars built for the purposes to offer sacrifices unto God. Sacrifice is the main reason of which an altar is built.

When introducing the use of altar to Moses, YHWH told Moses to tell Aaron and his sons [priests], that the fire on the altar of sacrifices shouldn't be quenched - Leviticus 6:12-14

Now, on the Pentecost day, fire of the Holy Spirit came down and landed on the head of Simon Peter and all the disciples [Including women] who were put aside waiting for the coming of the Holy spirit. The landing of the fire upon their heads, made them to become living and walking altars.

A walking altar offers sacrifices unto God continually as long as the fire keeps on burning on the head. Just like Simon Peter, was able to win three thousand souls as sacrifices to the body of Christ in one day.

Beloved, as walking altars we are compelled to sacrifice our lives, families, businesses, works, riches, time, money etc.

As a priest, someone who offers sacrifices to God, your duties is to keep the fire on yourself, as an altar day and night for the rest of your life. As long as the fire keeps on burning on you, fruits like prayer life will be seen in you, fasting, evangelism, fellowship on kingdom business, healings, intercession, etc.
