Meet our Key Note Speaker Mr. Ametepey Emmanuel.
Mr. Emmanuel is the Founder & Executive Director of Youth Advocates Ghana-YAG and the Convener of African Youth SDGs Summit. He is a member of 16×16 Youth leaders at United Nations Development Programme - UNDP
Mr. Emmanuel is a youth development consultant with special interest in governance, democracy and youth empowerment. As the Founder and Executive Director of Youth Advocates Ghana (YAG), he works to promote a sustainable and productive future for all young people focusing on effective youth engagement in the Post 2015 Development Agenda and the transition to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Emmanuel has worked as the country coordinator for Voice Africa's Future (VAF Ghana), a pan-African Post-2015 Youth Consultation Project which used widely available mobile technology, crowd-sourcing through e-platforms and radio to ensure Ghanaian youth groups participate in shaping the post-2015 agenda.
He was a Mentor for UK based Restless Development`s Accountability Advocates Project for Ghana, which aims to empower young people with the knowledge, skills and networks needed to analyze official data and generate their own, to track progress towards national and international development commitments such as the monitoring of the SDGs.
Mr. Emmanuel will be speaking at SDGs and ACADEMIC RESEARCH CONFERENCE 2020 tomorrow on the topic- Inculcating the SDGs into Academic Research:The role of Tertiary Students.

Yesterday, our president Mr. Francis Ametepey joined other youth leaders working on the project initiated by Youth Empowerment Synergy. He shared the project successes , challenges & proposed recommendations for future engagement with participants, partners & other young people who joined from Germany.

Mr. Fred Oduro is currently the Assistant registrar of Academics at Knutsford University College where he also lectures in the Business School as an Economics lecturer.
As Board Member of Ghana Students Accountability Network-GSAN, he is very passionate especially about the youth and he never seizes to use any platform to address their diverse social needs.
He has moderated several conferences and has been guest at other notable events across the country. His experience in the banking and finance sector gives him an upper-hand over economic matters making him a very good resource for economic tips and tricks.
