A four-member team of researchers from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing. They came to Ghana for initial fieldwork on a China-Africa Institute Joint Research Project (2025-2027) titled China-Ghana Exchange and Mutual Learning in Ethnic Language and Cultural Preservation Practices led by Prof. Zhao Tianxiao (Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences) and Prof. Clement Kwamina Insaidoo Appah (University of Ghana).

The Accra City Campus is hosting an interdisciplinary team from the University of Waterloo, Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Environment, in Canada This will bring together 45 students and faculty from the University of Ghana and the University of Waterloo to participate in a workshop and conversations centred around water and health — specifically, how water systems influence health outcomes, livelihoods, and environmental sustainability.
The goal of this collaboration is to advance research opportunities and promote scholarly exchange between the two institutions
