Our minds have the tendency to always shift to past experiences in an attempt to correct it and into the future in an attempt to build our desires (fantasies), hardly leaving us with the chances to live in the moment. Unfortunately, the more we rehearse every bad emotion/experience, the more the pain stays with us and our brains believe this more because it already happened. We fantasies about things in the future which might have some good emotions but most of us do not give it a plan or process structure which makes it seem like a lie.
Then we get caught up with a past we can never fix and a fantasy we might never get.
Why don't we train ourselves to live in the moment and dream (with a process plan) of the future?
The most effective way to control the mind is to generate and be in charge of your own thought system. Use neuroplasticity to become the captain of your ship.
