RELY ON STRENGTH FROM ABOVE

In life we are tempted to rely on our human strength, skills and competence in the discharge of our responsibilities. We depend on these in our initiatives toward the fulfillment of our dreams and goals.

Though reliance on these human abilities is important, they only help us to a certain level in life. It takes more than human abilities and effort to break certain limits and enjoy all round progression: The scriptures indicate that by human strength shall no man prevail:

_“He will guard the feet of His saints, but the wicked shall be silent in darkness. *For by strength no man shall prevail.”*_*(1 Samuel 2:9)*

To break certain barriers and limitations into the the realm of extraordinary success, we need special strength from above. Always remember that *it will take the help of God to enjoy the provisions of God.*

The Spirit of God gives us a kind of strength, wisdom and competence to achieve beyond our human abilities:

_“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but *our sufficiency is from God.*”_*( 2 Corinthians 3:5)*

We are not sufficient in ourselves. Our own efforts and maneuvers will not take us far. Our sufficiency is from God implies that our strength, wisdom and competence is from God.

*How do you plan to manage your life, academic work, career, business, marriage, family and ministry this year???*

Rely on the strength, wisdom and competence from above. Ask God through prayer, and the Holy Spirit will enable you to handle every task with extraordinary success.

*With strength from above* you are up to every task because your sufficiency is from the LORD.

*PRAYER*
- Pray and thank God for His special care for you and your household, being gracious and merciful.

- Pray that you will always be careful not to rely on human abilities and effort in the discharge of your responsibilities

- Pray for strength, wisdom and competence from above to overcome barriers and limitations.

- Pray that by the guidance and enablement of the Holy Spirit you will enjoy extraordinary success in all your endeavours
