A New Turn In My Life
In the last 4 weeks, I’ve signed up for a certification training in Caregiving.
I become what is known in different jurisdictions as Caregiver, Nurse Assistant, Direct Support Personnel, Supported Community Connector, Auxiliary Nurse, Patient Care Technician, Behavior Technician and Childcare Support Staff. after this 3-month intensified training in Geriatrics (elder care), Childcare Management and Special Needs Care.

Yesterday, I attended a lecture on Basic Patient and Resident Care which covered Patient or Resident Environment, Furniture and Equipment, Admissions, Transfers and Discharged, Cleanliness and Hygiene, Grooming, Basic Nutrition, and Assisting With Bowel and Urinary Elimination.

Though we’re at the initial stage of the training, I already feel empowered with the knowledge I am acquiring. Please wish me luck 😊
