Out of about 600 inmates in the yard, 102 (17%) are our fellow muslim brothers and sisters. The food situations over there is a huge problem but even worse during Ramadan when they would have to fast.

It's of this reason, among others that TVM initiated such project.

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: *“Whoever gives iftaar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.”* [Tirmizhi]
