Demonstrating computing concepts and skills to learners is always better than lecturing in their lost imaginations in front of a white, black or green board.

Nevertheless, I wish I had a projector to reduce my work from five demonstrations per lesson to one. The advantage is that many learners get to practice.

CSSPS PLACEMENT PORTAL WILL GO LIVE NEXT WEEK

The Minister of Education has announced to parents, guardians, students, and the public that the 2023/2024 Computerised School Selection Placement System (CSSPS) into Senior High School (SHS), The Technical Schools (SHTS)and Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutes, will go live on November 2023, precisely Next week.

Out of the total number of 571,892 registered candidates, 555,353 candidates have the qualities to be placed.

A total of 367,811 candidates have automatically been placed in one of their choices, which means a total of 187,542 qualified candidates will have to do a SELF-PLACEMENT selection from available schools since they could not be matched with any of their choices.
