Management of the University of Ghana led by Nana Aba Appiah Amfo earlier today joined the Ministry of Youth & Sports and President Akufo Addo for the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of Sports Infrastructures on the University's 100-acre land at Borteyman.

The Sports complex which will have a thousand-capacity 8-lane swimming pool, one-thousand seater multi-purpose sports hall, lecture halls, student hostels, and lecturers' bungalows will be used to host the 13th African Games in 2023 ( )

Earlier today, Nana Aba Appiah Amfo & management of the University of Ghana together with the Minister of Youth & Sports went on a tour to sites of some construction projects currently ongoing at the University. This is in preparation for the 2023 African Games which will be hosted by Ghana.
