Congratulations to our boys cricket team who took part in a tournament this afternoon. Despite winning all their matches they missed out on a place in the finals by just a few runs. So they went into the playoffs for 3rd/4th place. They won that match and so placed 3rd in the tournament overall. Well done boys - yet again staff report excellent teamwork and sportsmanship, superb behaviour and attitudes and said you represented our school brilliantly. Amazing effort from everyone - we are super proud of you all. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Today we launched our Snack Shack initiative in partnership with the The Health Improvement Commission for Guernsey and Alderney LBG It was a very successful first session! Mrs Cooper said 'We had lots of excited children, eager to taste the delicious watermelon, sugar snap peas and red peppers. The children have voted for their favourite. We’re looking forward to next Friday’s Snack Shack already!'

The children can choose to try a range of different fruits and vegetables during playtime, initially a couple of times a week. We hope to be able to extend the offer as our Snack Shack grows in popularity. Thank you again to the The Health Improvement Commission for Guernsey and Alderney LBG who are supporting us with the cost of the fruits and vegetables and this morning even came to school to help us to slice and dice!

Another perfect day for a swim! This morning Y5 really enjoyed their lesson. They all said the water was lovely and warm!

We absolutely LOVED getting in the pool today!! Happy, summer vibes!! And lots of great swimming!

Well that’s a wrap!! Jersey 2026 was absolutely epic! We are so proud of all of the children - they were an absolute pleasure from start to finish. It was honestly a delightful 3 days. And smiles all round still at the end from the dream team!! Wishing everyone a wonderful sleep tonight!!! Over and out!

Thank you to the team from PACE Guernsey for their sessions this week in school focusing on how special and unique we all are as individuals. Our children in Y2-4 were able to take part in the activities and spent time reflecting on their own special qualities. Thank you PACE.

A huge well done to our Y6 Girls Cricket team who were taking part in a tournament at KGV this afternoon. Our team made it to the play offs and ended up placing 4th out of the 10 teams taking part. Well done girls - a brilliant performance, excellent sportsmanship and yet again you were fabulous ambassadors for our school. Well done! We are proud of all of you. 🏏 🎉 ⭐️

A wonderfully peaceful and relaxing morning watching ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’ followed by lunch in the sun - someone’s got to do it!!! Afternoon adventures at the Maritime Museum underway before heading to the airport later on.
