Tip of the Day...
Application: Excel
You may prefer when printing your Excel Worksheets to keep some information/data unprinted, i.e. employee salaries...
To avoid printing specific rows or columns just hide them before printing. To hide rows/columns, select them by clicking relevant borders (click and drag to select a block; hold ctrl down while selecting non-adjacent rows/columns). Right click a highlighted row/column border and select Hide.
When you finish printing, Unhide by selecting entire worksheet (top left corner of adjoining borders) of a series of rows/columns and right click a row/column border and click Unhide.
The first quick tip of the day (we hope to update these very regularly)…
Application: Excel
Version: All
To move to the extremes of a block of cells in Excel simply hold the Ctrl down and press the arrow key in the direction for want to move. To highlight the cells rather than just moving the Active Cell, hold both the Ctrl and Shift keys down before pressing the arrow key.
