From Monday 15 June, Collings Road will be one way between our studios and the Rohais for 5 weeks 😬 you will not be able to turn left into Collings Road from the Rohais traffic lights so will need to follow the diversion up the Rohais, left into Courtil St Jacques and then left onto the Green Lanes.

We teach the following instruments: drums, bass guitar, electric & acoustic guitar, ukulele, keyboard/piano, saxophone, vocals (singing). As well as this, we offer tuition in music production, music theory and songwriting!

No, you don't have to take exams! Lots of our students choose to learn and play music for their own enjoyment or to challenge themselves. For others, exams can provide a useful structure to their learning and a feeling of accomplishment when they can tick another grade off!

A week later and we’re still buzzing about the Performance Workshop with Kelly Fraser πŸ’™ This was an awesome opportunity for participants to learn communication skills within a band, mic technique and stage skills, and channeling that nervous/excited adrenaline we get when we step on a stage for the first time! Blown away by the variety of voices and performers within our community. Well done all πŸ’ͺ🎢

Here's the second frequently asked question!

Answer: We generally start children with 1-1 instrumental lessons at age 5/6 but we also offer early years sessions for pre-schoolers. These sessions teach general music principles such as rhythm, pitch, melody & tempo using fun songs and games.

Answer: Yes! We have adult students across all of the instruments (including voice) and many have started as complete beginners - it's never too late to start!
