🍎 Lunchbox upgrades don't have to be complicated 🍎

Does your child have a limited list of foods they’ll happily eat?

Fussy eating is a common part of growing up and mealtimes don’t have to become a battle. Start with small swaps, familiar favourites, and plenty of encouragement.

We’re supporting the The Health Improvement Commission for Guernsey and Alderney LBG and their helpful tips for managing fussy eating, encouraging positive mealtimes and helping children become more comfortable trying new foods.

📢 Reception 2027 Applications

Application forms for children starting Reception in September 2027 will be sent out to parents on our list this week.

If you do not receive a form or would prefer to complete one in person, please pop into the school office and we will be happy to help.

When submitting your registration form, please include:

✅ Proof of address (recent utility bill, signed tenancy agreement, or purchase agreement)
✅ A copy of your child's birth certificate or passport
✅ Photographic proof of identity for parents (passport or driving licence)

📅 Please ensure all forms are returned to the school office by Friday 23rd October.

If you have any questions, please contact the school office.

📚 Primary school registrations for September 2027 are now open.

If you have a little one due to start school, please register for a place at your catchment Primary School before 3pm on Friday 23rd October 2026.

Any child turning five before 1st September 2027 must be in school (or approved alternative education) from that term. Children turning four by 31st August may start too, if there's space.

Children baptised Catholic can be registered at one of two voluntary Catholic Primary schools, Notre Dame du Rosaire or St Mary & St Michael.

The Year 7 students took part in a week of sailing at the for activities week. Despite challenging weather, all sailors got out on the water and tested the skills they had learned.. Thank you to the & Alderney
The Alderney Sailing Club and Mr Kirkland for supporting the week! We had a great time!

The Year 8 & 9’s have had an amazing day at Calshot. The weather has been beautiful! We have been kayaking, windsurfing, indoor ski-ing and climbing the high ropes. We are all so glad to be here!

We are pleased to announce that Hollie Phillips will temporarily become our Little Acorns Pre-School Manager in October when our love lovely Sammy Gaudion takes her maternity leave.
