Patagonia is sparsely populated geographical region at the southern end of South America, shared by Argentina (eastern side) and Chile (western side), known for its stunning, wild landscapes like glaciers, mountains, steppes, and forests, stretching from the Colorado River down to the Strait of Magellan and Tierra del Fuego.
Their food is unique known for hearty, rustic dishes featuring local ingredients like lamb cooked on a spit (cordero al palo), Southern King Crab (centolla), guanaco meat, wild boar, fresh seafood (trout, salmon), and unique berries like calafate, all influenced by Indigenous traditions, Spanish/Italian immigrants, and the rugged landscape, especially around areas like Torres del Paine.
