This idyllic town, known as Georgia’s “city of love,” has everything you might expect: winding cobblestone roads, couples dancing to smooth local music, and incredible views from its many terraces.

But here’s a little secret. The city is also home to one of the largest collections of paintings by Niko Pirosmani, Georgia’s iconic, charming, and most celebrated artist. 🖌️🎨 Our cultural guide Anna is here to tell the story ⬆️

The Pirosmani House-Museum (the estate where he was born and lived) is located nearby, in the village of Mirzaani. It is currently under restoration, and all of the Great artist's paintings are in Sighnaghi.

Happy birthday, Zhanna!

Zhanna has been teaching at the NovaMova Tbilisi school since 2023. She committed to the profession of linguistics and stays true to it every day, guiding her classes with incredible ease and a great sense of humor.

In her lessons, you can talk about virtually anything, from the finer points of cooking to a love for animals. Given her busy work schedule, Zhanna’s personal favorite pet is a hamster. 

What surprises Zhanna the most about her favorite students? Their unique ability to forget the previous lesson's topic. Seriously, though, it's their genuine openness to learning new things and their love of khinkali.

Zhanna's main advice for language learners: "Don't be afraid of making mistakes. Practice regularly and enjoy the communication process!"

Are you familiar with the name Sukhishvili?

From July 23 to 26, the Art-geni _ Art-gene_ festival will take place on the open-air stage at the Ethnographic Museum in Tbilisi. It is a truly unique experience to connect with Georgian culture and iconic performers.

On the 23rd, the legendary Sukhishvili - სუხიშვილები ensemble will take the stage. They always showcase a spectacular, one-of-a-kind program. Performing in front of a Georgian audience is always a deeply moving experience and a very special encounter.
