QSI International School of Tbilisi www.qsi.org/tbilisi/
Non profit international school organization founded in 1971 serving diplomatic, development, and business families in 25+ countries.

Quality Schools International (QSI) is a non-profit school organization that was founded in 1971 with the express purpose of staffing qualified, experienced, and caring teachers in private international schools around the world. Starting in Saana, Yemen, in 1971, QSI has since grown to 35+ schools in 25+ countries spanning four continents. QSI employs a Mastery Learning approach to education ensuring success for our students. Mastery Learning is an educational model describing a focused and powerful way of organizing curriculum (what is taught) and instruction (the way it is taught) in such a manner as to provide the best opportunity for a student to not just learn but master the material that is being presented. Here at Quality Schools International, success for all is not just our motto, it is our belief. At QSI we believe in teaching the whole child, and to that extent, we teach both our accredited curriculum and also the Seven Success Orientations: Responsibility, Kindness & Politeness, Concern for Others, Group Interaction, Aesthetic Appreciation, Independent Endeavor, and Trustworthiness. Only through a complete education can a child enjoy a successful and rich life, and here at QSI we are committed to providing just that. QSI schools around the globe are serving families from diverse backgrounds. Primarily QSI students come from diplomatic, development, and business families, but it is the needs of the community that define the structure of each school. Schools range in size from just a small handful of students to our largest schools with over 1000 students enrolled. Quality Schools International enjoys financial support from the US Government Office of Overseas Schools and is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (USA). ๐Ÿพ This Week Around QSI Tbilisi....

Learning takes many forms! This week, our Panthers solved problems independently, worked together, learned outside the classroom, and, of course, found time to have a little fun along the way. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ˜„

In each of these moments, we see The QSI Way in action: a community where students belong, learn, and succeed together! โค๏ธ๐Ÿพ

A Peek at Preschool Recess!

At QSI Tbilisi, we understand the importance of balance. For our preschoolers, recess is more than a break. Itโ€™s time to play freely, express themselves, enjoy time with friends, and develop important social and physical skills.

Belonging begins with moments like these. Through play, our youngest learners build the confidence and skills that help them learn and succeed.๐Ÿพ

๐ŸŽจ Bold Lines, Big Ideas!

Our 11-year-olds explored line and shape through Fernand Lรฉger's art. Inspired by his bold lines and geometric forms, they created original compositions and discovered new ways to express their ideas.

At QSI Tbilisi, students have room to explore, create, and grow. Thatโ€™s The QSI Way: Belong. Learn. Succeed. ๐Ÿพ

๐Ÿ”ข๐Ÿง  Growing Math Minds, The QSI Way!

Our 7-year-olds are practicing addition and subtraction while exploring even and odd numbers. As they spot patterns, make connections, and explain how they solved a problem, theyโ€™re building the confidence to think like mathematicians.

The QSI Way in action: students feel comfortable sharing their thinking, get the support and practice they need, and celebrate each step toward mastery. ๐Ÿพ

๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿฟ๐ŸŒ™ Elementary Fun Night at QSI Tbilisi!

Last Friday, our elementary students stayed on campus for a special evening just for them.

There were outdoor games, arts & crafts, LEGOs, and, of course, popcorn to enjoy!

We love creating opportunities for our students to strengthen friendships, make special memories, and experience the joy of belonging to our Panther community. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค

๐Ÿพ This Week Around QSI Tbilisi....

Learning looks different at every age, but the joy of discovery connects us all! From hands-on exploration and creativity to collaboration, technology, and focused learning, our Panthers have been busy growing, creating, and connecting this week.

These moments capture what The QSI Way is all about: students who feel they belong, are engaged in their learning, and are supported to succeed.

๐Ÿ€โšฝ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽญ Outside the Classroom: Athletics & Activities at QSI Tbilisi!

At QSI Tbilisi, learning and growth extend far beyond the classroom. Our Athletics and Activities Program gives students opportunities to discover new interests, develop their talents, build friendships, and feel an even stronger sense of belonging within our school community.

Whether students compete on an athletic team, participate in a club, perform, create, or try something completely new, these experiences help develop skills that last a lifetime.

These opportunities also bring our Success Orientations to life. Students practice Responsibility, Group Interaction, Independent Endeavor, Concern for Others, Trustworthiness, Kindness & Politeness, and Aesthetic Appreciation in authentic ways outside of the classroom.

We are proud to provide experiences that support the whole child and help every student find a place to connect, contribute, grow, and succeed.

This is the QSI Way: Belong. Learn. Succeed. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค

This week, QSI Tbilisi celebrated an exciting new tradition with our first annual House Sorting Ceremony!

Every student and staff member was officially sorted into one of our four houses, inspired by Georgian wildlife: Bears, Wolves, Eagles, and Leopards

Our House System is about so much more than friendly competition. It strengthens community, builds connections across grade levels, creates a deeper sense of belonging, and gives students and staff new opportunities to demonstrate our Success Orientations.

Throughout the year, Houses will earn points by demonstrating our Success Orientations and competing together in House Games and activities. We cannot wait to see the friendships, teamwork, traditions, and memories that grow from this new chapter in our school community.

Welcome to the 2026 Tournament of Houses! May the best house win. ๐Ÿ†

Game on, learners!

Our AP Human Geography students brought some friendly competition into the classroom this week with a Jeopardy-style review game! As they prepare for their upcoming assessment, students worked together, tested their knowledge, and challenged one another along the way.

A great example of active, engaging, and fun learning!
