"…( this three point stands for my lateness to the session - I was approximately 30 minutes late).
At first we discussed bit our home-tasks ( all of us had particular exercises for example, I found one word and composed three sentences with this word) and thought over sentences with the words which were written on the black board. After, we did funny energizer and started doing IELTS reading task. Despite of test results, we were psychologically ready to do a team work “mission impossible” . Unfortunately there was no team leader for Tom Cruise , therefor whole group were splatted into two groups–“girls team” and “George”(both presentation were great ). "

New Linguaclub seasons has started today.
This time, we would like to share first impressions of our fresh members.

"First of all ,thanks Google map and my six sense for finding Droni’s office. I actually like everything from decoration to team members. Also, I would like mention that our meeting started traditionally (15 minutes later than it was planned but in Georgia it is natural process).
Today was first meeting that’s why everything was new for me as well as for others. Fortunately, the facilitator(Sofi -smart) was very positive and communicable. She helped to feel free and relaxed during whole processes, which was great ice-breaker inside the group. After a few minutes, we started tutorial with energizer which helped us to memorize participant’s names, the rule was simple: we were saying our name and the name of previous person with the adjective which was starting with exact same letter as our name( Sofi-smart, George-gorges , Nina- natural , Nana-naive, Mariam- magic , Mariam- master, Cici-curly, Nino-nice). Besides, facilitator presented the structure of Lingua club. We also shared responsibilities, as for me, for the next session i'll be responsible for topic - WORD OF THE DAY, which means that i'll bring the new world, will define it, and will complete the sentences using this new word .Next Wednesday, we are getting ready for word competition ,I think it will be joyful and interesting at the same time.
To sum up , the main goal of this day was to get to know each other and explain how this club works. in my opinion it is a great advantage that everyone has their functions which helps to use lecture time fruitfully. I feel very motivated and can't wait till the next meeting! "

Report - 17.12.2015
17 of December, it was the meeting of Italian Lingua Club. The main goal was to repeat the numbers, colours, months, Zodiacs. The class started with short dialogs. Students were trying to represent themselves, they tell the audience their names, they already know how to say what colours they liked, also they learnt the correct names of Zodiacs and said the audience what zodiacs they were. They can say the human’s body parts, for example : nose = Naso, ear = Orecchio, hand= mano, eye =occhio and so on… During the lesson students played interesting games, they had the words of body parts and sticked them on one students body, this game was positive and cognitive. The students were very satisfied for this lesson.
On this lesson, there was the journalist from the television broadcast of ,, Komunikatori’’ and televised our lesson, they also interviewed our Italian teacher.

The first day of the Lingua Cub was dedicated to getting to know each other and also to introduce the structure of the course. Sophia and Luca explained us detailed information how it works. There is no similar lesson in this club. We are going to have different activities every time and these are: New words, synonym wall, translating Georgian expressions in English, Movie hour, grammar, discussions on different topics and etc. It seems very interesting for me. Sophia also talked about formal and informal education. Later on we started with some energizers and ice-breakers. First game was to repeat the name and superpower of our neighbor. It was followed by ''Atoms''.

Next activity was aimed to build the team. We were divided into 3 groups and each of us had a task that had to be solved in order to get a new one. First group who solved all the tasks won. We had one winner group and two- second place winners :) we had a lot of fun during this time and looking forward to our next meeting.

A workshop was conducted by Lingua Club at Tbilisi State University.

A2 level courses of Italian Lingua club has already launched. Today, students who “successfully passed the exam of A1” began new course.
This is a new level of Italian language, so it is a little bit complicated then it was before.Although, Italian students of Lingua Club have overcame the difficulties.
The new topic of today’s meeting was directive pronouns such as in front of = di fronte, turn to right = girare a destra, turn to left = girare a sinistra , under = sotto, etc.
During the lesson students read and translated some texts, described the pictures, composed the sentences and so on.
Also, the new Italian Lingua club A1 level took start in parallel with A2.
next meeting of Italian Lingua Club A2 group will be on next Monday at 18:30 PM.

On Wednesday we had a meeting of the English Lingua Club.
We started with a small name game, where everybody makes a gesture to his name and the others have to repeat it.

Second activity was Georgian Expression which was well known "აი ია" - Look, a violet.

After it, we played a very funny game. Everybody painted a clock and had to arrange some meetings with the other persons (For example at 4 with Keti). Facilitator said a random time, the people met and should talk about fixed questions.

The next activities, we did were the word of the day, which was "Suitable" and logograph, where the word was "Afford".

Report Lingua Club, 28.11.2015

Yesterday we had a Lingua Club meeting in English.
Our first activity was part of our former plan, we gave a word to one of the participants and he or she had to explain it (of course without using this word) to the others until the found the word.
The next one was very spontaneous, actually we planned and prepared a discussion, but we thought, that 4 people are maybe not enough, so we played game, called “Who Am I?”. Everybody has to write a name of a famous person on a piece of paper and has to stick it on the forehead of one neighbour and everybody has to guess through yes/no-questions, who he is.
After it (we played for a long time, because it seemed like everyone had fun with it) we made a short break and continued with a game, where the 3 categories kitchen, university and movies were written on 3 pieces of paper. We separated the participants in 2 teams and said one word and the team of the member, who pointed the correct categorie the fastest got a point. Yesterday the “Dragons” won against the “Cuties”.
The end of our sessions was the logograph with the word “request”.
We changed our plans very much, but I think, that it was funny for everyone and we talked a lot so we are satisfied with it.

- In Lingua club you can improve your language skills, make a good friends and have fun. If you want to improve speaking skills you need to have communication in English. This is a place where you can get great experience. It is very pleasent place with a amazing facilitators. Lingua club is a good opportunity to learn and be more confident.
