If you want a HIGH score in international exams or speak like an advanced English speaker, you need ONE thing 👇
Topic-specific vocabulary.
Not just random words. Not basic words.
Words that belong to topics like environment, technology, education, health.
Because this is exactly what exams test you on.
Think about it:
❌ “pollution is bad”
✅ “environmental degradation poses a serious threat”
See the difference? That’s how you move from B2 ➝ C1/C2.
So how do you actually learn it?
✔️ Learn words by TOPIC (not random lists)
✔️ Always learn collocations (how words are naturally used)
✔️ Read real articles (BBC, The Guardian, etc.)
✔️ MOST IMPORTANT: use the words in speaking immediately. DO NOT let the knowledge sink deep down 🙂

One of the biggest mistakes students make is focusing only on grammar and ignoring vocabulary depth.
In reality, your score (especially Band 7+) depends heavily on how well you use topic-specific vocabulary — the kind of words you see in articles, listening tasks, and reading passages, and the kind examiners expect to hear in your speaking and writing.
That’s exactly why I created this list.

Here’s how to use this:
1.Pick one topic
2.Learn 5–6 words
3.Make your own sentences (out loud!)
4.Try to use them in your next essay or speaking practice
