East-West University hosted an expert workshop on AI adoption and EU AI Act readiness among Georgian enterprises, welcoming Dr Colin Rigby from Keele University, UK.
The workshop, held on September 16, was part of “AI Adoption and EU AI Act Readiness Among Georgian Enterprises: An Empirical Baseline Study,” one of the winning projects of East-West University’s internal grant competition.
Led by Luka Kemoklidze, the project examines how Georgian enterprises are adopting artificial intelligence and explores their readiness for the EU AI Act.
The discussion brought together academic, business, and regulatory perspectives to review the project’s survey framework, explore lessons from the UK and Western Europe, and discuss the next steps for the research.
Thank you to Dr Rigby and everyone who contributed to the discussion.
