Meet Juanita Mapini, a 2nd-year medical student at Alte University who participated in the Erasmus+ exchange program and spent a semester studying at รœskรผdar University in Istanbul, Tรผrkiye! ๐ŸŽ“โœˆ๏ธ

Juanita shares key moments from her experience as an exchange student:

๐Ÿ”น "Alte University was very supportive throughout the process. They helped with official paperwork, communication between institutions, and provided clear instructions on what to expect before departure. This made the transition much smoother and gave me confidence in moving to a new academic and cultural environment.

๐Ÿ”น Alte University prepared me academically by giving me a strong foundation in medicine and encouraging a more independent way of learning. This has helped me adapt to a different system in Istanbul where self-discipline and clinical thinking are very important. I also feel that the university helped me become more flexible and open-minded, which made adjusting to a new country much easier.

๐Ÿ”น Another highlight has been my first real moments of feeling settled here, like navigating the city on my own and realizing Iโ€™ve adapted more than I thought I could in a short space of time.

๐Ÿ”น I would honestly tell other students to go for it. Itโ€™s not always easy at the beginning, but it forces you to grow in independence, confidence, and adaptability."
