🔹 Lose (verb): to misplace or not win
👉 Example: I don't want to lose my phone.
🔉 Pronounced: /luːz/

🔹 Loose (adjective): not tight or free

📘 Understanding Types of Noun

A specific name of a person, place, or institution.
Example: Shakespeare, Kolkata, NASA
🔹 Usage: Always capitalized.
🔹 বাংলায়: নির্দিষ্ট ব্যক্তি, স্থান বা প্রতিষ্ঠানের নাম।

📌 2. Common Noun (জাতিবাচক বিশেষ্য)
A general name for a class or group of entities.
Example: city, book, teacher
🔹 Usage: Not capitalized unless at sentence start.
🔹 বাংলায়: সাধারণ কোনো ব্যক্তি, বস্তু বা প্রাণীর নাম।

📌 3. Abstract Noun (বোধবাচক বিশেষ্য)
Refers to intangible concepts, qualities, or states.
Example: love, freedom, intelligence
🔹 Usage: Often derived from adjectives or verbs.
🔹 বাংলায়: অনুভবযোগ্য কিন্তু দৃশ্যমান নয় এমন গুণ বা ভাব।

📌 4. Collective Noun (সমষ্টিবাচক বিশেষ্য)
Names a group or collection seen as a unit.
Example: team, jury, flock
🔹 Usage: Singular in form, may take singular/plural verb.
🔹 বাংলায়: বহু ব্যক্তির বা বস্তুর সমষ্টিকে বোঝায়।

📌 5. Countable Noun (গণনীয় বিশেষ্য)
Can be counted and have singular/plural forms.
Example: apple/apples, chair/chairs
🔹 বাংলায়: যেসব বস্তু গোনা যায়।

📌 6. Uncountable Noun (অগণনীয় বিশেষ্য)
Cannot be counted individually; treated as mass.

Right Use of Articles in English
✨ Master A, An, and The in Simple Steps!
🔹 A – used before consonant sounds
👉 Example:
✔ a book
✔ a car
✔ a university (because 'university' starts with a 'you' sound)
🔹 An – used before vowel sounds
👉 Example:
✔ an apple
✔ an hour (silent ‘h’ makes it a vowel sound)
✔ an MBA (‘M’ sounds like 'em' – a vowel sound)
🔹 The – used for specific or known nouns
👉 Example:
✔ the sun
✔ the Taj Mahal
✔ the first prize
❗ Remember:
It’s not about the letter, it’s about the sound.
✍ Say it aloud to check:
Is the sound a vowel (a, e, i, o, u)? Then use an.
Otherwise, use a.
📚 Practice:
🔸 a cat or an cat? → ✅ a cat
🔸 a honest man or an honest man? → ✅ an honest man
🔸 a MLA or an MLA? → ✅ an MLA

Grammar Tip: A MBA or An MBA?
📚✨ Grammar Tip of the Day ✨📚
🔤 A MBA or An MBA — Which is Correct?

The answer is: ✅ An MBA

But why? Let’s break it down:
Even though “MBA” starts with the letter M (a consonant), it is pronounced “em-bee-ay” — and “em” starts with a vowel sound! That’s why we use “an” — because it depends on sound, not spelling!
📝 More Examples:
✅ an hour (silent ‘h’ → vowel sound)
✅ a university (‘you’ sound → consonant sound)
✅ an honest person (silent ‘h’ again!)
✅ a European country (‘you’ sound = consonant)
✅ a one-time offer (‘one’ sounds like ‘won’)
💡 Quick Rule:
✔ Use “an” before vowel sounds
✔ Use “a” before consonant sounds
🌟 Speak it, don’t just spell it — your ears won’t lie!
