• ბავშვთა დაცვის საერთაშორისო დღესთან დაკავშირებით, მიმდინარე წლის 1 ივნისს, ჩოხატაურის მუნიციპალიტეტის მერიის ბავშვის უფლებათა დაცვისა და მხარდაჭერის განყოფილების ორგანიზებით, სხვადასხვა სკოლის ბაზაზე არსებულ „ბავშვთა საბჭოს“ წევრები ქალაქ ქუთაისში, აკაკი წერეთლის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტში გაეროს ბავშვთა ფონდის (UNICEF) ეგიდით დაარსებულ ბავშვის უფლებათა ცოდნის ცენტრს ესტუმრნენ. ვიზიტის უმთავრეს მიზანს აღნიშნული ცენტრის საქმიანობისა და მრავალმხრივი გამოცდილების გაცნობა წარმოადგენდა. შეხვედრის მთავარი თემა ბავშვის უფლებები, კეთილდღეობა, დაცულობა და თანაბარი შესაძლებლობების უზრუნველყოფის ხელშეწყობა იყო. ცენტრის ხელმძღვანელმა პედაგოგიური ფაკულტეტის დეკანმა პროფესორმა მამული ბუჭუხიშვილმა რეგიონში ცენტრის არსებობის მნიშვნელობაზე, გამოწვევბსა და შესაძლებლობებზე ისაუბრა.
• ვიზიტის ფარგლებში მოსწავლეები დეტალურად გაეცნენ ცენტრის ბაზაზე არსებულ ინოვაციური STEAM კლუბის მუშაობის პრინციპს, რომელიც მოზარდებში თანამედროვე ტექნოლოგიური, სამეცნიერო და შემოქმედებითი უნარების განვითარებას ისახავს მიზნად.
• ასევე, მოზარდებს უნივერსიტეტის პროფესორი იმერი ბასილაძე შეხვდა, რომელმაც ახალგაზრდებს უნივერსიტეტის დაარსების ისტორია და ტრადიციები გააცნო. შეხვედრის დასასრულს, დაიგეგმა სამომავლო თანამშრომლობა, რაც საფუძველს ჩაუყრის ერთობლივი პროექტების განხორციელებას და ახალგაზრდებს მისცემს საშუალებას თავად იყვნენ პოზიტიური ცვილებების ავტორები საკუთარ თემში.
• On the occasion of International Children's Day, on June 1 of this year, members of the "Children's Council" based on various schools, organized by the Department of Protection and Support of Children's Rights of the Chokhatauri Municipality City Hall, visited the Child Rights Knowledge Center established under the auspices of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) at Akaki Tsereteli State University in Kutaisi. The main goal of the visit was to get acquainted with the activities and multifaceted experience of the mentioned center. The main topic of the meeting was the rights of the child, well-being, protection and promotion of equal opportunities. The head of the center, Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Professor Mamuli Buchukhishvili, spoke about the importance, challenges and opportunities of the center's existence in the region.
• Within the framework of the visit, the students were introduced in detail to the working principle of the innovative STEAM club based on the center, which aims to develop modern technological, scientific and creative skills in adolescents.
• Also, the teenagers were met by the university professor Imeri Basiladze, who introduced the youth to the history and traditions of the university's founding. At the end of the meeting, future cooperation was planned, which will lay the foundation for the implementation of joint projects and will allow young people to be the authors of positive changes in their own communities.
