Caucasus Snow School is a science education program being developed for schools in Georgia which choose to participate.

It will also be available for individual students who wish to register. Caucasus Snow School is a new program we are modeling after Snow School in the US. It is a science education program that takes an outdoor experiential approach. We provide lesson plans, demonstrations and guests for schools that cover topics already in their curriculum. We tie these classroom activities to a field day outdoor

How Plants and Animals Prepare for Winter - Project Learning Tree 02/01/2020

After Christmas I will be working on Snow School again this year. I hope we can do more now that I am less busy with other work, but it will depend on fundraising. Watch for more about this season in a couple weeks!

How Outdoor Education Can Prepare Students For the Future | InformED 13/04/2019

GAHS 2019 Classroom Day 31/03/2019

We are still here and trying to get better established! Unfortunately this is another short season since we were unable to begin earlier, but before the end of the season in a few weeks we will hold a few Snow Schools.

We are working on scheduling and planning for the German International School and Public School 54 so far. We can try to add one more school, preferably a public school. There may also be an open one for individuals who are not part of a participating school.
