Sacred Heart Catholic School The Tivoli Roman Catholic School opened its doors on September 11th, 1950 to house students from the surrounding areas of Tivoli and Hermitage. The late Mr.

This school replaced the old Hermitage Roman Catholic School. William Viechweg was the then past principal of the new school. The Governor General of Grenada, His Excellency Robert Arundel on September 14, 1950, formally opened the school and the Parish Priest and Manager at that time, Father D. Blencowe received this gift on behalf of the community.

Today we celebrated our victory at the St. Andrew's Primary Schools Games. Our second place was a win for us and we are extremely proud of our team. Overall, we broke six records; two on the track and four in the field. The under 13 boys (Cameron Nelson)and girls (Kizelle Romain)javelin, the shot put open boys (Jamal Aberdeen)and the javelin under 15 girls (Kaydaya Sylvester). The under 15 boys 200m (Christon Nelson) and the 800m open girls (Kaydaya Sylvester).
We also walked away with the under fifteen champs in both categories in the person's of Kaydaya Sylvester (81 points) and Christon Nelson(45 points). They walked away with the coveted Victor and Victrix Ladorum.
To say we are proud is an understatement as these are just a few of the names who represented us proudly. Kudos to all!
