We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Level 3 Qualified Childcare Practitioner to join our friendly team at Lollipops Daycare in Ystrad Mynach.

At Lollipops, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued and supported to thrive and learn through play. We are a close-knit team who truly care about the children and families we support.

What we’re looking for:
✨ Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)

✨ Good knowledge of safeguarding and child development
✨ Ability to work as part of a team
✨ Commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences

⚠️ Meningitis: Please Check Your Child’s Vaccinations 💉

Our Director of Public Health, Professor Tracy Daszkiewicz, is urging parents and carers to make sure children and teenagers are protected against meningitis, following recent tragic cases in Kent 💔

Meningitis can develop very quickly and can be life threatening. Vaccination is the best way to prevent it.

🛡️ Key meningitis protection includes:
• MenB for babies and young children
• Pneumococcal vaccine (can also prevent meningitis)
• MenACWY for Year 9 pupils and young people under 25 starting university

Young children, teenagers and students in shared accommodation are at the highest risk.

👉 Check your child’s vaccination record by contacting your GP or our Vaccination Service: 0300 303 1373
👉 Book any missed doses
👉 Learn the symptoms and seek urgent help if concerned

Missing a few of our lovely staff but we had a fabulous Christmas meal and night out at Ten Degrees at Market Street thank you, the food and entertainment were first class 🎄
