Here’s a snippet of my pupil Gwydion from Cwm Rhymni. He performed superbly in the grade 6-8 drum category at Caerphilly music young contemporary musician yesterday. He is playing Alien Ant Farms version of smooth criminal and just watch how ‘smooth’ that stick twirl is 🤘🏻 🥁

Fantastic day today at Caerphilly Music Service ‘Young Contemporary Musician of the year 2023’.

Well done to all the amazing pupils who took part! A huge well done to my pupil Ethan from Idris Davies comprehensive school for winning the group A category on drums and a MASSIVE well done to my pupil Max from Lewis School Pengam who was crowned the overall winner and this years Young Contemporary musician of the year!

Well done to you all!!

It’s been fantastic to welcome my students back to the studio for lessons this week with all social distance and COVID safety measures being adhered to. They’ve all worked phenomenally hard during the lockdowns and continued with their lessons online. Some I have not seen face to face In over 13 months!!
