Leaps and Bounds Childminding

We loved our lunch with a view today 🌳🐑🦆

This month we have been looking at all things owls!🦉
The children read the story of owl babies!
We talked about where owls live and how their mummy had to get them food to help them grow! We collected sticks, leaves and moss to create our own nests for our birds and also made little owls and loved role playing with them. Helping them fly and caring for them.❤️
We have visited Ebbw Vale Owl Sanctuary and loved looking and talking about the real owls.
We listened to the noises they made and even was able to have a look at one up close, we noticed they had yellow and some had orange eyes. Some were big and some very small! The children also was able to think about if they were owls and if they would like to eat insects, mice and rats 🤢 its safe to say they would not 🤣🤣

This month we have been taking on the we have had some much fun exploring all things nature, we expanded our knowlage and understanding around all the important jobs the wildlife do around us! 🐦🐝🐞
Here's some of the highlights from this month! ✨
️From exploring water, helping wildlife thrive, making nature pictures, enjoying a picnic, playing at the park, drawing some of our favorite bugs and taking part in bug hunts! We have had so much fun! ❤️🐛🐞🌞

We have loved getting outside more, now the weather is warmer 🌤🌻
