The new Year 1 Beavers were proudly invested into the Scouting family at Yoxford and Peasenhall Primary School.

We also invested our staff team and three Cubs.

Being invested is a significant milestone in a young person's Scouting journey and one that deserves to be celebrated. We are incredibly proud of everyone who took part.

Please look after your new red necker with pride and remember to wear it to our Scouting sessions on Tuesday afternoons.

Congratulations to all our newly invested members!

What a lovely day at the Yoxfayre! ☀️💛
A huge thank you to all our families who came along and supported us, to our wonderful choir who represented the school so beautifully, and to Katie for leading the singing. 🎶

And a special thank you to our fantastic new PTA for all their hard work! 💕

Oak class thoroughly enjoyed the Consortium collaboration of ‘Some Rainbows are circles’, where they were joining in making a collage, using a spinning wheel for painting and using their voice to make pictures.

We also had the pleasure of some visiting cockroaches, belonging to a member of the class. Some children were brave enough to hold them – they said it tickled.

Oak class were bridge building during Scouts this week and found that using a triangle structure with pillars underneath gave them the strongest bridges, even able to hold a tiger!

It was wonderful to welcome our Year 6 children back today after their residential.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have shared such a special few days with such a fantastic group of children. It was a real privilege to spend this time together, making lasting memories before they leave us in just a couple of weeks.

By the end of the trip we were all feeling a little tired, but before heading home we squeezed in one last game of football and even enjoyed an informative coastal erosion lecture from Mrs Last!

Thank you, Year 6, for making it such a memorable residential. We hope you'll look back on it with happy memories for years to come.

Another update! We all loved the campfire—especially making and eating the s’mores!
