A huge well done to Year 7 pupil Peter, who’s been busy climbing the Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. The 17-mile climb with his dad involved over 5,000 feet of ascent and necessitated climbing gear to reach the 8,846ft summit. We’re particularly proud that Peter wore his Terrington Hall sports top for the feat. A fantastic example of our school values of Confidence and Courage.

Unbelievably it’s that time again. Mere minutes after Mr Davidson was crowned as last year’s champion, Mr Denmark has spent his summer holiday setting up the 2026/27 Fantasy Football League. Please share amongst your friends and register for another nail biting season.

Work To Be Proud Of! Every now and then, Mr Thomas is delighted to get children appear in his office with a particularly special piece of work to show him! A copy is made and carefully stuck in his commemorative book and sometimes there is even a little reward from his box of treats! A really special moment to recognise great work done in the classroom, and one that allows children to be rightly proud and show off the fruits of their labours.

Frozen Friday went down incredibly well in the summer term, thanks to our hard working FOTH. We were all able to enjoy a treat after school after a long hot day, and the smiles speak for themselves!

Our final Artist of the Week was won by Year 6. They all created different masks to give the observer clues into their true identity or someone/thing they would like to be!

Year 5 had a fantastic trip to Eden Camp Modern History Museum , stepping back in time to see what life in World War II was really like. They sheltered from the intense heat in the very interactive exhibits, throwing themselves into the immersive experiences with gusto. The class had really enjoyed this topic in their Discovery lessons and it was a perfect way to cement their learning on this important period of history.
