Ukrainian visit (Mon 28th - Tuesday 6th)

From Monday 28th September, we have welcomed five students from Ukraine into the school. They have spent 3 days this week with us in school to get a real UK school experience. Today they led the ACW for Year 12 to speak about their lives growing up in Ukraine (which, for the most part, has been growing up experiencing war). We are very grateful for their courage in sharing their stories with us.

What an incredible day! 💙

Our whole school came together in the local community to cheer on Sir Kevin Sinfield as he passed through on his incredible 7 in 7 challenge.

It was fantastic to see all of the AHS students and staff lining the route, showing their support and celebrating the incredible determination, resilience and fundraising behind this challenge.

A truly inspiring moment for our school and our community. 👏🏃‍♂️💙
