Thank you to everyone who helped us raise so much money for Candlelighters. Thanks to the children for all their efforts for such a worthy cause, who are supporting Harry Rowntree, one of our past pupils.

Our Year 3/4 swimmers have been smashing their lessons. They’ve showed great resilience and determination throughout the lessons and have made great progress. Each week they have also learned about staying safe in the water. Keep it up Y3/4! 🏊
‼️ Cake Emergency! ‼️
The student council haven’t had many cakes donated for the school summer fair tomorrow. If you are able to donate anything at all they would be more than grateful. Please can you share this. Thank you! 🎂 🧁 🍰

Today we celebrated the (rather wet!) International Day of Play and had a 31 minute morning break.
Inspired by Article 31 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which states that every child has the right to play, today schools are encouraged to allow 31 extra minutes for play in the school day. We are very proud of the quality play our children get every day but we still had fun marking this and rose to the challenge of making the number 31 in a variety of creative and imaginative ways!
