This week in preschool classes, the preschoolers were shopkeepers in Robot Reg’s shop.

We were all playing games together and having fun with the pennies.

Our secret learning…….oral blending skills ❤️🥰

The grown ups were brilliant customers, but the preschoolers were FABULOUS shopkeepers, as they were blending the sounds to find the correct object.

I cannot emphasise enough what a key skill this is in the early stage of phonics learning and when it is practised through play, it doesn’t even feel like learning!

Why not have a go at home too?

Robot Reg is Scarecrow festival ready!

The sun is shining and the wind is easing, so it looks like a beautiful day ahead.

He is positioned between the community centre and the fabulous park, so anyone who is thinking of coming can have a little play whilst admiring him.

The fun begins from 11am.

There are lots of stalls in the community centre, cakes and refreshments, a BBQ at The Dawnay Arms from 4pm and a scarecrow trail with maps and a task to win a prize.

If you head out today and find Robot Reg, don't forget to take a photo next to him, then tag me and add for the chance to win a little prize 😀

I am super-proud of all of the little ones who helped make the week so special and also the grown-ups for their participation too! It is always a pleasure to watch you have quality fun time together!😍❤️

Monday Wigginton classes -WOW!!❤️

You were AMAZING today!🥰

I have had the most incredible first day back, so much fun, so many smiles, lots of new faces and the MOST fabulous children listening and engaging in classes!

I am so proud of my little superstars!🤩

Whether you were returning after the looooong break, joining us for your first time or moving up from the Minis sessions-I you have all been incredible today and I hope that you had as much fun as me!🥰

Thanks for the photos I've been sent or for tagging me in some too.

I am sooooo excited to be starting back in classes this week and to see all of my little phonics families returning, plus welcoming lots of new faces🥰

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has rebooked or booked on for the first time, resulting in 10 FULLY BOOKED classes! I truly appreciate your support and continue to be absolutely humbled at the number of families who continue every term and recommend my classes to friends and family❤️

There is still one preschool space left on our new Wednesday Bishopthorpe class with Louise, which starts next week on September 23rd.

I cannot wait to see the little excited, smiley faces come through the door, hear the giggles and watch the children calling our cheeky friend-Robot Reg!🤖

Let’s have lots of phonics f-u-n!!🎉
