It is with great sadness that we have just heard of the death of William Bennett. He passed away last night (Wednesday 11 May) following a period suffering with motor neurone disease. WIBB was a profound musical influence on so many people’s lives, and those of us who had the honour of studying with him owe a huge debt of gratitude. Thank you, Wibb, for everything you did for the flute world.
